You Must Enroll in Passmark to Continue Online Banking

CCSE Online Banking Terms and Disclosure Agreement

Agreement
This agreement is a contract that establishes the rules covering your electronic access to your accounts at Cattaraugus County School Employees Federal Credit Union (CCSE) through our Online Banking Service. By using Online Banking, you accept all the terms and disclosures for each deposit and loan account with CCSE. Please read the following carefully.

Setup
Enter your User ID and Security Code. CCSE does not keep any record of the Security Codes. If you lose, forget, or are locked out of the system, please contact the Credit Union to get a new code.

Access
To use Online Banking, you must be an active member of CCSE Federal Credit Union, access to Internet service, and a valid e-mail address. Once we have received your signed enrollment form and verified your account information, we will assign you with a login ID and temporary password. We recommend using Internet Explorer Version 7 or the most recent version of your web browser, and the most recent version of your PCs operating system.

Passmark ID and Security Questions (Enhanced Authentication)
You also must choose a security picture called a passmark and enter a phrase to go with your picture. Next, you must select and answer 3 security questions. Once this is completed you will be able to access your account online. The passmark and questions let you know you are logging into our site.

Online Services
You can use Online Banking to check account balances, view recent transactions that have posted to you account since your last statement, view account histories, and transfer funds between your CCSE accounts.

Hours of Access
Typically, Online Banking is available for access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, Online Banking may occasionally be un-available due to an emergency or scheduled maintenance. We will post notice of any extended periods of non-availability on the web site. If a power, external network, or other failure that is out of the hands of CCSE occurs, we will post notice as soon as the information of the nature of the problem comes to our attention, and work quickly to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, once it has come to our attention. ONLINE BANKING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FROM 6:30PM-7:30PM DAILY WHILE THE CREDIT UNION RUNS OUR END OF DAY PROGRAM.

E-Statements
E-Statements are also available. Enrollment is very easy to do. Just click the "e-statement" link that will appear when you first log in. You will receive notice via e-mail once your statement is ready, and you will no longer receive a paper statement. You must set your web browser to allow pop ups from our site to access the e-statement page. The E-Statement site will retain statements for a 6 month period. Statement copies are available at the credit union for a fee of $7 per statement.

User ID's and Security Codes
You must use your Credit Union Member Number as your User ID to access the Online Banking system. For security purposes, we recommend that you change your security code upon your initial login to Online Banking. CCSE does not keep any records of any security codes, including the ones that are initially assigned to you. You will determine what that password will be and for security purposes, that password is not communicated to CCSE. You, the member, accept full responsibility for the confidentiality and security of your password. Upon three (3) un-successful attempts to login, your Online Banking access will be denied. You will be prompted to contact the Credit Union to re-gain access to the system.

Internet Security
You understand the importance of your role in preventing misuse of your accounts through Online Banking, and you agree to promptly examine your regular monthly statements for each of your accounts. You agree to protect the confidentiality of your account and account number as well as your personal identification information. You understand that this information is intended to provide security against unauthorized entry to your accounts. Data transferred via Online Banking is encrypted in an effort to provide transmission security. Notwithstanding our efforts to insure that Online Banking is secure, you do acknowledge that the Internet is inherently insecure and that all data transfers can be monitored and read by others. We cannot and do not warrant that all data transfers utilizing Online Banking or e-mail transmitted to and from CCSE, will not be read or monitored by others.

Service Fees
Online Banking is a free service to our members; therefore no fees will be billed or withdrawn from your accounts. This, however, does not mean that any additional online services that may be added in the future will also be free of charge.

Posting of Transfers (including Federal Regulation DD)
Transfers done through the Online Banking system are posted to the intended account immediately, but may not be available for immediate withdrawal. In some instances, availability of funds able to be accessed via Visa Debit Cards may require the user to wait one (1) business day before access to those funds is allowed. Online Banking identifies transfers based upon the login ID of the user who made the transfer. You agree to communicate with all persons who have authorized access to your accounts concerning transfers to avoid fees. According to Federal Regulation DD, you are limited to six (6) withdrawals per month from your savings account(s). You may transfer into your savings account(s) as often as you want.

Restrictions of Transfers on Overdraft Protection and Line of Credit Accounts
At no time can anyone withdraw from their Overdraft Protection account or their Line Of Credit accounts. Line Of Credit loans are locked and if a transfer is attempted, the system will not allow it. If you need an advance on your Line Of Credit, you must contact the credit union at 945-5340 for that advance. An Overdraft Protection account is established to protect your checking accounts, and is not to be used as a credit line account. Transfer transactions are monitored daily at the credit union. You may transfer money into these accounts to make a payment whenever you desire. Any abuse of these accounts may result in termination of online access to your accounts.

Change in Terms
We may change any term of this agreement at any time. If the change would result in any increased or additional fees for any Online Banking service, increased liability on your part, fewer types of transfers, or limits on transfer dollar amounts, we agree to give at least 30 days notice before any such change would occur, unless an immediate change is needed for security purposes.

Members Right to Terminate Service
You may cancel your Online Banking service at any time you wish by providing CCSE notice. Your Online Banking access will be cancelled within 30 days of our receipt of your desire to terminate your service. Additionally, if an account is not accessed within a period of 60 days to 1 year, online access to the account may be terminated.

CCSE's Right to Terminate Service
You agree that we can terminate your service or limit your access to Online Banking services for any of the below reasons:

  1. Without prior notice, if you have insufficient funds in any of your CCSE accounts. Service may be re-instated at our discretion once funds are available to cover all fees, pending transactions, and other debits.
  2. If you do not contact us to designate a new primary account immediately after you close your primary account.
  3. Any un-authorized transfer from an Overdraft Protection or a Line of Credit Account may result in termination of your online privileges.
  4. Any account that has not been activated after a period of 60 days.
  5. For any other reason, within reason, we at CCSE feel your Online Banking account should be closed.
